Amara, popularly known by his stage name, M.I.C, is a Sierra Leonean rapper, songwriter and record producer. He was born on the 31st of December and raised in Freetown by his grandmother highhandedly.
He got our attention with the release of his chart-topping single titled “Panda” Produced by Lamzo jay; followed by other singles like “Oba Ya” where he called Kracktwist and Samza to the table on the song.
M.I.C is one of the most talented young rappers in Africa, not just In Sierra Leone, and was the youngest recipient for an award at the 2017 Teens Nation Awards, namely the Best New school artist Award (Best New Artist Award).
He officially started spitting rap in the booth at the age of 11 years having been influenced by his Father who was a music lover at the time. After launching into music career for some years, he finally mastered the process of music production and began adding his vocals on the beats that his producer was making. A few years later, he took part at the first ever rap tv show (AYV Cypher season 1), and merged as the winner.
He was signed to “Kabaka multimedia entertainment” - a Sierra Leonean based artist management company.
